This is one of our newest rescues...Ziggy. He is an Afghan Hound (though it may be hard to tell) that was found tied to a street pole and completely matted up. Casey and I spent almost two hours shaving him down and removing an entire garbage bag of matted and urine-drenched hair. Ziggy was SO thrilled to get all this gunk off of him! He is only about four years old and is very good with people. Unfortunately because he is not neutered or vaccinated we aren't too sure how he is with other dogs. When I walk him in the street he does great on the leash and is extremely friendly with people. He's a little nervous about loud trucks and construction work but with more socialization he will get much less fearful.
